Default HipHop is dead song question

I recently got da CD. On the front its says "explicit content"... and on some songs there is swearing, the use of the N word and what not. But My question is that, why on my Version of HipHop is dead, does he say "wreck the DJ" instead of Murder?...

confused.

Nas lost his nerve. the album version of the song changed "murder" to "wreck."

yeah. lame, right?

kinda like how Eminem on Em Show on the verse "I don't rap for dead presidents, I'd rather see the president dead" he sorta censored "dead."

I think its lame. but "murder" and "wreck" can have a huge impact on how much spin you get on the radio. and I guess Nas does care about his wallet afterall. or maybe he doesn't want some DJ coming after him or whatever. I dunno.

IMO, "put an extended clip in the AK and murder the DJ" is waaaaay Iller than the one he changed it too... extremely Lame. He coulda left it that way on his CD and changed it for da radio.
