I'd love to see the offensive capabilities of a Melo/Amare/Nene front court team. That would be downright brutal.
I'd take Nene over Sammy between the two, but Dalembert would more likely be the cheaper option. Either or would be good. Miami really need to fix that centre spot. They'll take what they can get

Yes. He's also cheaper. He would fit perfectly in our system since he doesn't need ball touches to be effective. If he learns how to perfectly set a pick and roll, it would greatly help our offense.

It sucks that we don't have any dominant Centers in the NBA beside Dwight Howard.

Cmon now that is just silly talk
Dalembert is a far better player than anthony.
He would be a good fit, a far better option what they have now. He can rebound, block shots and finish downlow. If he wants to win he will sign in Miami
Re: Free agent Sam Dalembert interested in Heat, Knicks, Rockets
i can c dalembert headed to miami, cus they are willing to use their whole mle, nene will probably get a huge contract from denver to stay and the knicks are most likely to wait next year to make a run at dwight/paul/deron

Indeed
Anybody really think denver won't pay big bucks now they have lost chandler, Martin and smith?

He is better than Joel but people are really overstating what Sammy will bring. He just is not that great of a player and he is not going to magically make the Heat much better. He is really one of the most overrated centers in the league. His stats are much better than his impact.

He doesn't need to be, he just needs to be soild inside by defending the paint, rebound and block or change some shots. Playing with the big 3 is only going to make things easier for him. He won't need to do much to make an impact there. He will make them a better team. Any improvement on last years centers will make them a better team.
It then leaves Anthony to be there energy guy off the bench which would suit him far better as well.
