New Jersey Nyets to make strong move for Dwight Howard.
I'm sure they aren't the only ones, but they do have the cap space, the draft picks, and some players to make a decent offer Orlando. I personally don't think Orlando will trade Howard at all... but you never know.
Can DWill and Dwight take the Brooklyn Nets to the promise land? That would be one hell of a duo.
Nets are going to offer Lopez+2 future 1st rounders+take Hedo off Orlando's hands. No question this offer is on par with the Eric Gordon+DeAndre Jordan+Minny pick+fillers offer from the Clippers or at least close to.

As a Nets fan I think Clippers have a better offer, don't see it as being on par. If he were fine with either team the Magic would be morons if they didn't take the Clippers offer. You do that deal and use the amnesty on Gilbert.
Nelson
Gordon
Turk
Bass/Anderson
Jordan
The Minny pick will be top 5 as well as Orlando's own pick if they still have theirs.
Nets trade would leave the Magic with
Nelson/Gilbert
????
????
Bass/Anderson
Lopez
Two picks that wont have the same value as a Minny pick and then once again Orlando's pick if they have their own pick for next years draft.

Let me restate that. Clippers offer is better but assuming Wolves do okay this year.. Nets offer becomes closer in value. Then again it would basically be Eric Gordon+DeAndre Jordan+fillers vs Brook Lopez+fillers. I'm sure Orlando would rather build around Gordon than Lopez.

Howard or no Howard.. have you given up on Lopez yet? I feel like he hasn't met expectations. Sure he's the best scoring center in the game... but the rebounding and defense is atrocious. Do you think he will turn it around?
Re: New Jersey Nyets to make strong move for Dwight Howard.
Clippers have one hell of a package. Can not lie about that as much as I want to. This is a pretty legit offer for Dwight from the Nets though. Surround Deron and Dwight with Morrow and Turkoglu(outside scoring) Think of how well this team will do. Hopefully the Nets can resign Hump as well.
But you gotta factor in the Clippers not taking on turkoglu and the fact that Jordan probably wont be any better han what you saw last season. Brook is just as good if not better than EG.
Williams
Morrow(probably traded though)
Turkoglu
Humphries
Howard.

I personally haven't given up on him at all, offensively in like 10 games with Williams he was doing some great things. If the Nets don't acquire Howard I think Lopez this season can be a 22-24ppg center while averaging 8rpg(what he averaged his first two years)
Defensively he won't ever be great on stopping his guy but with his length he can alter and block some shots.

Contender for many years.
Yup. If you guys get Deron+Dwight+good role players of course you will contend for a long time. Honestly though I feel bad for you guys. I have a feeling Deron is going to leave . Same way people probably feel Griffin will leave us (though it's going to be very hard for him to bail based on it being his second contract). I'm kind of bummed that when he first got traded Deron seemed proud to be a Brooklyn Net eventually... and now he seems to dodge the question Lebron style.

Well if he can get back to 8+ rebounds a game he will be fine but 6 rpg from a 7 footer with that much skill and upside is downright unacceptable. I think he's got the talent to definitely be a 24 ppg scorer for a couple seasons.
Re: New Jersey Nyets to make strong move for Dwight Howard.
Dont sleep on Brook. He was playing twice as good at the end of the season last year with Deron than he was at the start. I think hes gonna come out strong this year making this offer look even better.

Yeah I can see why you think that... No way the Nets dont improve starting december 9th. If they fail like last season. They will have to start to reel in offers for Deron
