No of course not, amare has always had a advantage, But I would have in a way kept randolph and jamaal instead of getting amare. and don't pull the "melo wouldnt have come" BS because we all know he came for the money.

But this wasn't the only place he could get the money. And he coulda made the money by staying with Denver. And if your reply is going to be about the marketing, he could have went to the Nets.

yes but he left for the same reason lebron left cleveland he was just following the bandwagon for marketing purposes IMO it was 50-50 between us and the nets. We just won because he likes shooting treys

LeBron didn't leave for the money. He took less money to go to Miami. And his marketing would have been better in NY. He took a huge hit with "the Decision" to go to Miami. We "won" with Carmelo because he wanted to play in NY and the Nets got frustrated. There was uncertainty in NJ with Deron not being re-signed and the Brooklyn Arena being in the ground stages. With the Knicks, Amare is locked up contractually, MSG is a guaranteed sellout arena/ huge stage to play on, and he's known Amare since HS.

LeBron left Cleveland for Miami for marketing purposes? Really? I asumme marketting purposes mean you would make more money. Why didn't LeBron come to New York then, isn't NY better for marketing? We had Amar'e locked up then too.

Let me tell you why LeBron went to Miami, and its kind of shocking to me that you didn't pick this up because its all people talked about for a while; He thought Miami had the more talented team.

He was actually closer to staying in Cleveland then you even think. Wade recruiting Bosh is what sealed the deal for him going to Miami.

As far as Melo coming to New York to shoot threes....huh? The Small Forward known for scoring with his great post moves? I don't understand.

I think you need to create another post and try again.
