I didnt think that album, was all that good. Some good cuts, but hella repetitive. He doesnt talk about anything worth listening to in the majority of his songs. Most are all about How hes the king of the west coast, his chucks, his khakis, how many girls he ****s, etc.

Gucci Mane - Hard To Kill

I see no reason to listen to any other music, when **** like this is around. total banger from 1 to 16. even the intro bangs, and its just talking. it's not even Gucci talking, it's just random people, but it still bangs. that's how amazing this guy is.

My favorites were Doctor's Advocate, Blue Carpet Treatment, Hip Hop is Dead, and John Legend's CD

the game is trash. Hip hop is dead is probably one of the worst albums from nas.
at least nas got one thing right, hip hop IS dead, rap was never any good.

i'm forced to listen to some old mf doom, nujabes, talib kweli, nas and some mos def.

Thom Yorkes album is OK but harrowdown hill is the only really goood track...Track 6 is also quiet good.

I'd say Bloc party, Silent alarm but that may have been last year...has anyone got their new album?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8oRFcA0mFM#

This song is alot dfferent to some of the others on the first album...Love the video

Quote:
Lord, give me grace
And dancing feet
And the power to impress
Lord, give me grace
And dancing feet
Let me outshine the moon

Is it so wrong to crave recognition?
Second best
Runner up
Is it so wrong to want rewarding?
To want more than is given to you?
Than is given to you?

Tonight make me unstoppable
I will charm, I will slice,
I will dazzle them with my wit
Tonight make me unstoppable
And I will charm, I will slice
I will dazzle I will outshine all

Standing on the packed dance floor
Our bodies thrown in time
Silent on the weekdays
Tonight I claim what’s mine

Probably sums up the social mentality of most young adults.

I was unimpressed by The Eraser as well. Maybe it's because I think so highly of Radiohead and this just seemed like a weak B-sides in comparison. Maybe if Radiohead never existed and it was just Thom Yorke I'd maybe think it's a good album but it's hard to get away from Radiohead comparisons and this solo album just didn't even come close. Not bad but nothing groundbreaking or exceptional.
