Good thread, Rodgers and Brees are very comparable to me at this point, UNLESS Rodgers ends up winning the Super Bowl (and going 19-0 would top it off).

Because New Orleans has these inexcusable performances (like losing to Seattle in the playoffs), sometimes not showing up games they should be, and Brees occasionally showing the "Favre" in him by sometimes throwing too many picks when trying to make big plays.

After the Saints superbowl run Brees was considered by many the best qb in the league. I have him right up there with Rodgers, Brady, and Manning. What hurt him and his publicity is he followed up that superbowl season with a 22 interception season and losing to Seattle in the first round.

Brees did get a ton of recognition after he won the SB but he lost it last year when both Brady and Rodgers out played him and the Packers took away his attention...
going into the season last year everyone had Brees as the best QB in the NFL...(not literally "everyone" GOBB, just the vast majority)
