It makes all the sense in the world. It is like a player signs a two year contract with a team and, just before the end of that contract he is traded ... and automatically the same contract for the same money applies again next season
I told you when I offered Millsap.
I wouldn't want Millsap as my 2nd rounder though. I didn't do that trade because I was willing to take my chances on picking up whoever is available in round 2 if I had to, and I still am.
I remember Rabbit leading the standings until I took the lead. Maybe Rapsfan was in first place some days in between.
Every team had injuries and it also depends on if you take risky picks.
I had the lead until Andrea got injured. Don't know how risky of a pick he was. But then just everyone came at the same time. I think at one point I had 6 guys on the DL. Pretty bad season overall...
Millsap goes in round 4 this season. He is not as attractive as then though because of some concerns about playing time in Utah.
Oh, I didn't see that he hadn't been kept yet. Either way, I already have someone i'm keeping in the 4th round so he'd at least have to be a 3rd rounder. But don't worry about it i'm good. So far you're a one hit wonder so we'll see what kind of results you have in a full 82 game season where the production/injury patterns/tradings are a bit more normalized.
Many people with things to prove this season. Great. And we are still like a month before the draft.
Normally I wouldn't even care, but the amount of talking you did at the end of last season was incredible. So now we're all past the "welcome to the league" stage with you and onto the "i'm taking you down" stage. but it's all in fun though.
Wow this is hilarious coming from you Chambs, someone who has preached to me about fairness both publicly and privately. For a long ass time I put it out there that I was available to be in this league and I was told, sorry all the spots are full but we'll take that into consideration if someone drops out. I said ok that's fine, i'll be waiting. When a spot actually opened up, I was like OK RF, i'm here! Put me in! And he basically told me "nobody likes you and therefore it'd create drama so i'm gonna pass on you." I said, bro I won't be creating drama. I have fantasy keeper league experience and i'm one of the most active posters on the raps forum, just give me a try, and if worst comes to worst, don't bring me back the next year. Then FC casually rolls around WAY after i've put my name in the hat and says "hey guys, i'll be the replacement if you want. i've never done a keeper league before but just fill me in on the rules and i'll give it a try." and RF is like "Great, you're in! Welcome aboard!" the f*ck kind of shit is that? No respect around here, no damn respect.
edit: PS i'm saving this message, so if one of the mods (i'm looking at you Funk) has any bright ideas about deleting it, I will just repost it until it gets answered.
Not my league, dude. Sorry. All I can do is put you first in line on the wait list. I don't decide if anyone else gets kicked out. That's as fair as it gets.
I had the lead until Andrea got injured. Don't know how risky of a pick he was. But then just everyone came at the same time. I think at one point I had 6 guys on the DL. Pretty bad season overall...
Rajon, Amare, Okafor, Lawson, Bargnani, and DWade. Hard to be competitive when all of them were injured last year; You can maybe argue Okafor being droppable, but rest aren't...
oh boy, classic T-Low is at it again. It's frustrating and hilarious all at the same time!
Haha, I need something to keep me going this year. I might need one of you guys to give me some advice with the rotisserie style because I am still having trouble when it comes to the fields and the trades....
