Oh ok, I see. I don't know if I consider that a fair rule. But then again, I guess when I came I didn't have any keepers at all because I didn't inheret someone else's team, so perhaps it's different.
Yes we changed it so new GMs would just inherit a team. Having the 50% rule not apply for some reason would be extremely valuable. I mean FC is taking over the team that came 2nd last year. I don't see any reason we all wouldn't follow the same keeper rules.
- Kobe Bryant (round 1)
- Joe Johnson (round 2)
- Josh Smith (round 3)
- Blake Griffin (round 5)
Remember the 50% rule. If someone was kept last year (see initial post in the thread), their round value goes up by 50%. Both Griffin and Smoove were kept last year. Also, you can keep anyone on your team, just so everyone is clear.
FC it will probably be messy but I emailed you the draft. If anyone has a round value question, don't hesitate.

Hence the reason why I said it's different that he's picking up a team rather than completely drafting a new one with no keepers.
It's OK, thanks a lot. I have 3 keepers decided. I doubt among Wade, Aldridge, Nowitzki or a late round pick for the fourth keeper).

5. You can KEEP a first round pick 2 times, before they are cut loose. This means if you draft LBJ, you get him this year (year of draft), next year, and then also a third year. If you acquire a first round pick, you can KEEP him twice.
If it's not much trouble to search, I'd like to know what players will be affected by this rule and so be available in the draft. (I am only interested in fantasy superstars: Lebron, CPaul, Durant, KLove and DRose)

Do you in general for the whole league? I don't think there is anyone that I can think of, but I'd have to check. This rule doesn't really ever come into play because it's done the job we hoped. GMs don't/can't hold onto a guy forever and end up dealing him.
oh, i figured you mentioned that rule b/c one of my keepers was ineligible.
No because the rounds you listed didn't account for the 50% increase for a few guys. Both Blake and Smoove were keepers last year so you need to apply the rule to them if you want to keep them this year.
Sorry maybe I confused you when you asked me for round values. I was just giving you the round guys were taken in, not commenting on if they were kept last year or not (was letting you do that part by checking the first page of this thread).
RapsFan gave me so a good team that I have to drop very solid potential keepers (Nowitzki and Carmelo rd1; David Lee rd2; Ray Allen rd5). My question is if I can trade them right now to a team with weaker keepers, before the deadline to send the keepers.
For example: Dirk Nowitzki + round 9 pick for round 5 pick + filler (so I'd have two round 5 picks in the draft)
