Default kwame Brown considering joining miami

Quote:
Brown hopes to land with Heat: Veteran free-agent C Kwame Brown is strongly considering joining Miami for the upcoming season, according to Yahoo Sports. Brown finished with 7.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while playing 66 games with Charlotte last season. The Bobcats have shown interest in bringing him back for a second year with the club.

If they can't get dalembert then Kwame is their next best hope. Joke all you want about him but last season he played really well and would give miami a rebounder at Center who can defend.

If Miami get Battier and Kwame I think that would be a decent off-season for them.

He's a good post defender. Last season he had his best game of the season againts the Heat. Miami are unlikely to acquire Dalembert according to yahoo sports.

Yup, people are gonna knock him because he's Kwame, but he really did play some ok basketball for Charlotte. Seemed comfortable and happy playing there.

I know it's Miami, but it would actually kinda surprise me to see him move there, he might crumble a bit under the much increased scrutiny of playing for the Heat.

He's barely an upgrade over Joel Anthony. He did have a decent year last year in his standards. 26 minutes per game, 7.9 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game ands hot 52% from the field.

He's an upgrade for purely rebounding. Anthony has got to be the worse rebounding center in the league.

Maybe when he intimidates LeBron in practice he will get his confidence back and live up to the expectations.

Even if they split time, he's better than any other option they have, and C is their biggest need. I think any FA they get that's a C is a good sign for Miami.

I didn't say he wasn't better, it's an upgrade, but barely.

Last season Anthony played 19.5 minutes per game and averaged 3.5 rebounds per game.

Last season Lopez played 35.2 minutes per agme and averaged 6.0 rebounds per game.

So yes, Lopez is actually Anthony bad if not worse considering Lopez is 7' tall and 265 while Anthony is 6'9".

Better start sizing up the rings. Kwame is going to carry that team.
