Default Phil Jackson Next Coach

It seems erily strange and suspicious the Knicks have legit PF/C's (not saying good players) on the roster. Nothing great at PG or SG yet. Does this smell like a team that is building for the triangle offense?

Melo is a slight above average passer, but could fill a Kobe type role.

Amar'e would not fit in the triangle due to I think it would be too complex for him.

Tyson would be perfect.

Jury is out on our backcourt, matter of fact deliberations haven't begun.

Only way Phil comes is if he truly feels this team can win it all.

Imagine that though?

Phil coming home, to help the team he played for win a title since the last time he played for them.

Dare I say it, but I really dont want Phil Jackson. Beyond the fact that I think he was slightly overrated as a coach,I want to bring someone in here who is going to gow with us for the long haul. Have you seen Phil lately. His health is far from good so even if he comes back to coaching,it'll only be for a few years. We all know he bails when his team isn't playing like a contender.

Phil's 11 rings as a coach says alot, definitely not overrated.

True, he has always had a star studded lineup, but some coaches don't win with loads of talent, definitely not as much as Phil has done.

If Phil is healthy I can see him coming here.

I know this won't be taken well, but what if D'antoni somehow gets this team to play ball the proper way, and we challenge someone for the ECF and lose, while putting up a solid effort in 6 games.

Does D'antoni get let go?

Kind of hard to do it if we have that kind of success.
