Billups was a good option for that. But that's it. The Knicks don't need Hill and they definitely don't need Foster. Why is it hard for them to acquire some young hungry talent?

If they feel they are a contender, I can see why they are going after the older vets.

Plus the good young guns are aren't signing on for one year deals, and really all we have is vet's min.

Have to be in the league 7 years for that, so that knocks out the younger players as well.

If someone says the Knicks need to get young talent again in any thread gonna have to IP ban people...
You cant expect young talent with no to little NBA experience to pick up D'Antoni's complex system in 2 weeks.
The Knicks only have cap room to sign veteran minimums.

I dont have mod powers

Well IP Ban me. Im not interested in getting guys to fit D'Antoni's system. I
don't want him here past this year ANYWAY!!! If he's our coach after this season, we're in trouble anyhow.

I don't want him either, but who is available that's better?

I would say Phil, but I really think he is done.

Theres a youth movement going on in coaching now and we need to be a part of it. guys like Monte Williams are stepping right in and having success. I think these young guys know how to connect with today's players better. Every year names come up. Im sure someone better than D'antoni will arise b4 season's end.
