Default too much outside shots....

i saw on tv the past 2 games and they make jumpers almost they have possession. even o'neal shoot 15ft jumpers, y s that? the only guy penetrate to the paint s tinsley and daniels if he was on the floor.. does they lack guards tht can penetrate to the lane and dish to big guys for easy shots???? i guess so.... granger and harrington must have inside game at least 50% of their shots.... thanks!! that's all.

i agree, but i think our problems go deeper than that.

o'neal is our best low post player, yet he barely plays w/ his back to the basket and wants to settle for jumpshots half the time. harrington is also a shooter who won't play in the post. carlisle needs to kick 'em in the butts and make them stay down low when we got the ball.

another problem is our players shooting when they don't have a jumpshot. daniels comes to mind and i cringe every time i see him going for a shot. i would also mention greene, but he barely plays anyway.

ah, i still like the pacers, though...crappy shooters and all.
