Default So, the Spurs are looking at Maggette

the rumors page states that a source says the deal is a long shot, but a Udrih & Barry combo might get it done for the clips.

i like the idea of going after Maggette (younger, atheltic & gets to the line), but i couldn't stand the spurs losing Barry. he's great ball handler, great 3 piont shooter & seems to be a great teammate. while adding Maggette would be great,t i don't know if he'd adjust & intergrate quicky enough this season to have the same impact as Barry is. (would've been a different story if they got him in the off season.)

the team now is playing great basketball & i don't believe that they need another swing man.

is he that youthful? hes been in the league one year less than duncan, and he seems to be more injury prone that camby, spurs please pass on this please. i wish they had jr smith even though he doesnt seem to melt the team together like barry does.

you're right about Maggette being injury prone at such a young age (he's only 27)! i too hope they don't look too deep into this trade possibility.

i agree timmyD, that JR smith deal would have been awesome. JR smith is hitting alot of threes for denver and iam sure he could be hitting more if he had a presense like duncan in the middle.
