Rivera seems like a terrible hire for Carolina so far though, why is Rivera making Newton make all the plays? Why not relieve some of the pressure off Cam and run it with Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo? Those guys are good, let them run it.
I seen Cam drop a ball into a recievers hands in full stride while he was being double teamed. Throws elite QB's make.
Tebow, although improving, still bounces balls to wide open players.
Last game, he could have took off running while inside the 15, instead, he side stepped along the line of scrimmage and found a WR in the end zone. I thought he would just take off and barrell his way towards the goal, if this was week 3, he would have done just that. thats progress to me.
Wanna talk about winning? Cam has won at every level too. HS, JR College, Auburn, and I'm talking titles, not games.
Give me Cam, you don't have to change the way you play for dude to be successful
i think beside panther and bronco fans with the other fans its liberals vs conservatives here with liberals hating everything there is about all-american type tim tebow so they'll pick Cam. It hurts them to see such an outspoken christian winning football games. They cringe when he prays on the sideline and wins. Cam hasn't shown any ability to win football games

My political views are liberal in a number of areas and I still like Tebow. Fact of the matter is that plenty of NFL players are Republicans and/or outspoken with their religion. That's not what this is about for me, and furthermore it's not like liberals as a whole just don't believe in God.

Winning a NC at Auburn sure looked a lot like winning football games to me. Cam has already won more games than Peyton Manning did in his rookie season.
1. Panthers Offense >>>>>>>>>>>>> Denvers Offense
2. Panthers Defense <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Denvers Defense
3. Panthers Special Teams <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Denvers Special teams
4. Panthers Coaching <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Denvers Coaching
This is difference in wins and loses for each team basically.
Cam he seems to have all the tools to be an elite QB.
Tebow has intangibles and possess an unbelievable heart he has all the tools to be an elite football player.
My Franchise will start with Cam. Those that pick Tebow you are going to have to pick special type of players offensively to cater to Tebow's ability.
Why didnt someone do this for Tommy Frazier that dude >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tebow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oO18ZbCLbE
It's not fair but black QBs in general were still uncommon in Frazier's day, one could get a chance but he'd better be a big-time passer. The reason (or excuse) why most black QBs got no shot is that they were runners. So Frazier being a black running QB had no shot. And on a side note, he wasn't better than Tebow at all.
Also, in a number of ways it might just be easier to build a team around Tebow if you don't plan on developing him as a passer. Great WRs only want to play in passing offenses and require a lot of cap space. If you're going to settle for a receiving core highlighted by Eric Decker you'll be able to spend $ and picks on other areas like for example turning the good Bronco D into a great one. The first thing the Broncos did upon announcing Tebow as starter was getting rid of Brandon Marshall.
This approach also would hinder what Tebow does with is arm but if you can develop an overwhelming D it may be worth it. You also probably won't have to pay Tebow what you'll have to play Newton, as Newton's stats will mandate elite QB pay whereas you'll probably be able to pay Tebow the average for an NFL starter. Only way you have to pay Tebow big $ is if you're in SBs and/or he's in the MVP convo, and if that's the case, he's worth it, no?
Cam. He fits the mode of your typical qb. He has the proper skill set. You don't have to get players to fit around him, like what is going to happen with Denver in the off season. I would pick Cam over Tebow.
