Re: Brook Lopez is a better trade asset than Andrew Bynum
Bynum is better but not by much but in a trade I would take the player that has more professionalism. While Bynum is promising talent he can be immature at times despite being in the league for 7 seasons. So, with the personal and physical baggage I would prefer Lopez as an asset.
Re: Brook Lopez is a better trade asset than Andrew Bynum
Lopez played last season with mononucleosis. When he was healthy toward the end of the season his rebounding numbers picked up, and the shit-blocking prowess he flashed during his 1st 2 seasons returned. Him being a restricted free agent that does not miss games is undervalued. I would not trade Dwight for a man made of glass who will be a free agent soon and has flashed bitchmadeness.

Orlando replaced Shaq with Rony Seikaly, why would they want to do that all over again with Lopez? Because that is how good Lopez is, he is Rony Seikaly 2k12.
Re: Brook Lopez is a better trade asset than Andrew Bynum
Bynum would only give Orlando 50 games a year. Injury prone centers are injury prone centers. Go with the consistent Lopez I say. That, plus Bynum is a big cocky pu$$y.
Re: Brook Lopez is a better trade asset than Andrew Bynum
I really don't understand whats the point of Orlando even trading him this year. The same trade opportunities should be available next offseason. They should keep him at least for the year for the opportunity to compete with him for at least 1 year, make moves to convince him to stay, and/or at least convince him to pick up next year's option and stay around for another year.

Playing alongside Kobe and Pau has decreased Bynums offensive statistics, not increased them. Bynum as the number one man, playing in the right kind of offense with sets designed to get him open on the block, could easily average 25/11 or somewhere along those lines
The negatives to Bynum are his injury history and his upcoming free agency

LOL. Wow get real. 25/11? Those are better then Dwight's numbers. Its not just that he's injury prone and misses 15-30 games a year. He also takes half the time he's actually on the floor recovering and and getting back into his regular basketball shape. And he's only 24, playing as a 3rd option, and he already has all these injury problems. Do people think it will get better as he gets older and is given the most responsibility on a franchise?
Re: Brook Lopez is a better trade asset than Andrew Bynum
Lopez is mad underrated, and I say this as a Knicks fan who hates the nets. He is BETTER offensively than Dwight. His rebounding issues get overstated; he strikes me as one of those guys who will start getting double doubles in the playoffs when he cares about it like dirk and amare. He is too slow to be a mobile defensive anchor, but he can be a decent post defender.

If he had no history of injuries, we PROBABLY we have gotten the trade by now.
If he had no history of injuries we would've won in '08 and he wouldn't even be on the block for Dwight.
Anyway I just think we should keep the team and back off Dwight.
