Default Coaching Hot Seats

Todd Haley was just fired.

Steve Spagnuolo

Andy Reid

Jason Garrett

Tom Coughlin

Jim Caldwell

Raheem Morris

Tony Sparano

Norv Turner

Pat Shurmer

Mike Shanahan

Who keeps their job and who doesn't? What would some of the "borderline" guys listed above need to do to keep their job? Also Leslie Frazier "definitely" has his job for next season according to the Vikes owner.

Shurmur shouls be fired because he's just terrible, but I think they'll give him another year.

You think Spags keeps his job? He's pretty coveted right now by teams looking for a D coordinator. A lot of people want him in Philly again.

I think he'll get another year, I think McDaniels is going to be the one to go on that staff, but who knows, he may be fired. Personally I think he should be given another year.

Andy Reid - his past success let's him keep this job.

Jason Garrett - fired if they miss the playoffs.

Tom Coughlin - fired if they miss the playoffs.

Jim Caldwell - done

Raheem Morris - done

Tony Sparano - done even though his team had been fighting hard.

Norv Turner - done

Pat Shurmer - he has to have another year. That team can be good with a couple more playmakers. And they have a boatload of picks that can translate into something good.

Mike Shanahan - I wouldn't be surprised if Snyder let's him keep his job. They've been in a lot of close games this year. A couple personnel upgrades will make this a consistent winning team.

I was surprised. I thought some people might put down Lovie but I guess people are giving him the benefit of the doubt with the injuries. Although I look at Houston and say they're winning with an almost as depleted team and have beaten better teams then we played on our current losing streak.

If the Browns give Shurmur another year, they need to force him to hire an Offensive Coordinator, he has been a ****ing terrible play caller this year.

I think if the Bengals lose out, Marvin Lewis should be on the hot seat. The team has improved, but it will have been proven time and time again that when the stakes are raised, they come up short. Their record on his watch in the month of December isn't very good.

Caldwell's going to get the Peyton Manning pass and be able to stay IMO. He should be fired though.

Shanahan said to Snyder that this had to be a 5 year deal or he wasn't going to accept the job when he did, so I think Shanahan is still going to be around at least for next season.

Why would they fire him because of injuries and the font office's incompetence? No he's not on the hot seat.
