We can agree that a center like Eddy Curry needs jumpshooters around him to discourage doubleteams. However, even Marbury and Crawford have been erratic from long range. Guards like Marbury, Crawford, and Robinson need centers with a good mid-range jumper, such as a Raef Lafrentz, because they live and die off of driving the ball. Lump on players who should never shoot from beyond 12 feet (Lee, Balkman, Jeffries), can we consider Isiah Thomas's biggest downfall bringing in talented players who can't play together, or is his biggest downfall his inability as a coach to get these guys to play together? You can say he's terrible at both, but one has gotta be worse than the other...
I believe it's a bad mixture of people who have the same strengths in skills. They all can rebound but no one can shoot. Something like that. They need more of a variety.
Lee,Balkman and Jeffries are energy players, and they play defense and do the little things. The problem with this team is defense, because we all know they can score. They never took defense serious and still don't, and that's why they also get beat down court and lose games they may be up by 10.

He is a terrible GM and a bad coach. Amassing talent is not a sign of a good GM its putting together a team, where the talent of the individuals complement each other that is more important.
You are absolutely right about Curry. He is strictly a low post player at this time with no jump shot and poor passing skills. Players like Marbury and Francis are penetrating point guards, so Curry's lane clogging does not help. The fact that noone can consistently shoot the three ball just adds to the problem....the roster is truly the problem here and that is without a doubt Isaiah's fault.
It is definitly Isiah bringing in bad players. Signing bums too huge contracts have limited his free agent signing abilitys, not drafting well has also been a problem, and just getting a bad mix of players together in general.
BTW, is your name supposed to be Channing Shamgod or Channings Hamgod. Is the hamgod some sort of omnipotent ham lord whom rules all ham?
