GOBB, we don't normally ever see eye to eye.

but we seem to agree on this. Skip loves Tebow, nothing wrong with that. But he is obviously going overboard for the ratings, and " we" as the viewer tune in like crazy. It is even worse now that it comes on podcast, so you can listen to it whenever.

I have to admit all objectivity was lost in the last episode when Skip went to Denver. It was like he was leading a cult, it a way it was quite scary more than entertaining.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDYB8...feature=relmfu but at the end of the day he is doing it for the killer ratings. Don't hate the player hate the game type of thing

SMH @ stephen a smith bringing up the race card on 1st take. dude is foul, considering that theres been PLENTY of young black quarterbacks given a chance who didnt do shlt (vince young, campbell, russell, etc)

tebow won 2 chips and the heisman , he deserved a legitimate shot at a starting position, and he's defintely proven his worth, unlike that pathetic russell from oakland.

Don't lump Campbell in with a guy like Russell. He's bee a respectable starter for most of his career, not his fault he got hurt this year. ALso saying Tebow won to Chips is misleading, the first one he had a role but Chris Leak was the starter.

What did he say exactly? On that note, Kordell Stewart seems to be jealous of Tebow mania from the few clips I've seen. I don't get why? The guy was given 5 seasons to prove himself and he had a below average career. Stewart, from what I read, had a rough time getting a starting gig as a QB, but the dude was given 5 starting seasons to prove himself. No way would Tebow be given 5 years on the broncos if he put up Kordell's production.

There are other white running QB's i.eSteve Young and Rich Gannon that had a rough start to their careers because they weren't thought of as QB's.

Granted I do think there is a racial aspect to black playing QB but I don't understand how it pertains to Tebow. Tebow is having a similar season to Micheal Vick's 2nd year in the league. Vick in his 2nd season threw for 16 tds 8 ints 2900 yards and 55% throwing and 777 yards rushing. Tebow in 8 starts has 10 tds, 2 ints 49% throwing 1200 yards passing and 450+ yards rushing. I don't remember if there was a controversey of Vick starting the third year, can't say the same about Tebow...

Oh ye, Micheal Vick was named a probowler in his 2nd year. Imagine if Tebow were to make the probowl this year? THe shoe in are Tom Brady (might not play if they go to the superbowl?) and Big Ben. After that? Philip Rivers on a bad year? Dalton? Schaub is injured. Eh why not Tebow? But that would cause a huge outrage with the analysts and the haters if Tebow were to make the probowl (assuming he continues his pace statistically speaking).

PS:

Can't believe Kordell Stewart made the probowl in 2002. 14 tds and 11 ints and 5 rushing tds. Yet he wants to bitch about his unfair treatment.

It was 2001 and he had a Pro Bowl season, 3100 passing yards, 500+ rushing yards, 60% completion's, and the Steelers went 13-3. In my opinion he deserved to make the Pro Bowl.

The probowl was traditionally played in February of the following year hence 2002.

Ye too bad none of his passing statitics were top 5 in the AFC (other than rushing statistics.) Idk if there was any outrage if Stewart made the Probowl that year. Probably not.

Yep, and they would rotate guests on the same show to debate Skip on the exact same topics.

The dude is a full of himself shithead. He makes outrageous claims, gets lucky on a few and then lords it over everyone as if he is some sort of sports oracle.

You're probably right, I'm just used to Skip bragging and making topics about the predictions he did make right, instead of people pointing out what he got wrong on that show, because he'll find a way to get out of it.

Skip Bayless knows next to nothing about sports. I kind of agree with him about Lebron, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
