if you want to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you intake. Running 1 mile at a moderate pace burns about 100 calories, so you need to run at least 20 miles a day in order to lose weight if you eat around 1500 calories a day.

Speeding up your metabolism will burn calories just sitting around and in your sleep. Running as much as he says he does I would estimate his metabolism is so quick he doesn't need to diet as much as he would like. Just eat carbs and stay balanced (no carbs, no metabolism)

Yeah...I hear marathons work well too. Just train all week, then run one in a different location every weekend.
What is this Nader guy smoking?
I would recommend adding some weight training to your exercise regime as well. A few reps on the major muscles in the chest, back & legs will give an additional boost to your metabolism andoverall health.
from what I know is that
cardio helps you to lose weight just in general
but to want to lose fat in a certain area is hard
you can build the muscle around that area
because muscle burns fat
It didn't seem like you need to lose weight
so just try to build some ab muscles
u need a lot of walking each day. id suggest to help ur mom doin chores at home or play with ur dog if u dont live with mommy no more and do a lot of sit ups everyday. watch what u eat. u know no drinking soda/beer during the lakers game. avoid fatty meals. i have lost a lot of stomach fat last summer doing the stuff i said. i walked and hit the park a lot too. it helps. and remember u dun need to keep checking ur stomach everyday, like after exercise. it will only give u stress. it takes months to reduce some stomach fat.
I've been on my under 1500 calories a day diet for a couple of days now, I'm just wondering if we could stuff ourselves with fatty food such as pizza, burger, or grilled chicken once a week? Is it healthy? Cause I want to eat good food once in a while.
