Default Larry Brown Fired...Good fit for the Raptors?

Would Larry Brown be a good fit for the Raptors?

He is a hard-nosed coach that emphasizes defense. Would he be a good fit for Toronto or are there too many young guys in Toronto for him?

if you don't to make the playoffs this year, then yes... I still thought Kevin O'neil did a solid job for us... and with the current roster, he could do even better... but I like Sam Mitchell as well... I'd let him have another chance...

Nope! Plain and simple you need a guys who is good with young players like a Terry Porter or PJ Carlisimo....Brown needs tough old school banging players that understand his schemes...we don't have those players. I'm intrigued to see what Sam does this year before I jump to conclusions. If he makes the playoffs extend him 2 more if not replace him.

Brown's football-coach shtick just isn't effective in today's league, plus his health problems make him iffy. He isn't a good candidate for anybody right now.

More importantly, Isiah is coach AND GM now? that should work out well....poor knicks fans. The team has gone beyond comical, it is cringe worthy.

Raptors are young and an offensive minded team, what part of that does larry brown fit into?

Basically, I think if every team GM sticks with the rule of "whatever the knicks do, we do opposite", those teams will be fine.
The Knicks are a joke from bottom to top, Thomas is an a**hole and they have the 3 worst moral killers in the world in Marbury, Francis and Rose. I would n't touch anything that came out of NY.

i actually liked Kevin O'Neil..but he was terrible on the offensive end
i tink Larry would suck for us..since he hates young players
and we should be running and gunnin

If we followed that rule, then we would hire larry 'cause thats the opposite of firing him.

Larry Brown doesn't like giving the minutes to the young guys who deserve it, he's too narrow minded to coach our team where there would surely be mistakes like with the Knicks. Simply put, I want Larry Brown to stay very far away from the team and the coaching position. It's just a horrible fit all together, it doesn't work.

The Raps do not have the type of players that LB likes.

Nor would I want him just for the fact of the drama that he creates in the media.

The TO media is almost as bad as the NY media.

I think it would just cause too much discorse in the orginization.

Toronto is an offensive team who are looking to become more offensive, Colangelo wouldn't want him.

Too much ego. Too much baggage. Too expensive.

Just imagine for a minute that the Raps did hire him, and Bargnani was drafted.

We’re talking Darko 2 – The Return of Larry The Butcher.
