Default How do I get PS3 to display in HD?

will a simple HDMI cable work? I tried one but couldnt get it right do I need those red green and blue cables?

It hooks up straight with HDMI. I did one yesterday for my buddies kid.

Keep both the composite and HDMI cables connected from your PS3 to your Tv so you can change the display settings to HD. The display settings are under the Settings column in the XMB.

be careful because if you go from composite cables to HD you need to reset the PS3 or it won't show up. hold the power button for about 6 seconds and it will beep.
