Actually it seems like the Hawks were one of the teams with interest in Jefferson last year before the Jazz got him. Josh Smith wants out. Brings some of AK's versatile game. Hinrich is hurt. 3 point shooter Jazz need. Expiring contract. Marvin Williams they want to trade. Wing help they need. Pachulia they don't appreciate.
Hinrich or Watson, Howard, Smith, Millsap, Pachulia or Favors starting. Millsap/Smith could switch on opposing 3's and 4' s depending on match-up. Marvin 6th man. Kanter, Evans, Watson, Tinsley, Hayward and Burks.
Jefferson allows them to play Horford at the 4 when he returns. Harris could fit since the ball is in Johnson and McGrady's hands a lot. CJ is expiring and Bell's a defensive stopper!
Excellent point by FloorBurn in that the Warriors could re-visit Kyrylo Fesenko. He was still recovering from his injury, I’m told, the last time the Warriors worked him out. Maybe he’s that much better now. He certainly brings some of the physicality the Warriors liked in Kwame. Contra Costa Times
Sign and trade? Think they might need to open up a roster spot?
David Locke: Utah Jazz have 11 5 man units that have played more than 10 mins together only 2 have outscored opponents they are ......
Locke: 1) Watson, Burks, Howard, Kanter and Favors and 2) Harris, Miles, Hayward, Millsap and Jefferson - 10 different players all about match-ups
Where's Bell?

David Locke: Out of top 50 5 man units in minutes played via @basketballvalue Jazz starting line-up is 4th worst line-up in NBA (Mil,Det and Minn worse)
No surprise here. Watson and Howard need to start instead of talking about how good the bench is.
From Ty: Comfortable with Josh Howard playing 30-plus minutes: He's getting better every night he step out on the floor. He's getting in better game-shape. He's feeling comfortable with the guys and the guys are feeling comfortable with him. He can do a lot of different things on the floor for us. He's a good defensive player. He's a good offensive player. He can read situations and pass the ball when he need to. And he has experience and that's the key thing for us. He'll do the right things to help us win.
Moving Howard into starting lineup: Right now, we'll see. We'll see where things go. Right now, we're OK.
Bell/Hayward/Burks/CJ is anything but ok right now.
The Hawks are looking to make some moves now that Al Horford is sidelined for three to four months. I’ve heard that they’re going to shop Kirk Hinrich’s expiring contract, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they listened to offers for Joe Johnson, Josh Smith and others. HoopsWorld
Not sure if we have what's needed to get him without giving up Millsap or the kids but he'd be a nice pick-up. Help at the one and 2. Help defensively. Help with shooting. Expiring deal. Trade exception and pick(s)?
Brian T. Smith: Corbin's comfortable playing Howard 30-35 minutes now. Asked about moving him into the starting lineup, Corbin will see how things play out.
Pretty much have to start him to get him those kind of minutes and have him in there at the end of games fresh.
Brian T. Smith: Evans' teammates openly campaigning for him to get invite. Only dissenter: Alec Burks, who jokingingly swears he can jump as high as Evans.
Brian T. Smith: Al Jefferson said only player he's seen who can leap as high as Evans is Gerald Green, who won 2007 contest and took 2nd to Howard in 2008.
Be nice to see their two best athletes out on the court once in a while.
