The worst part is that the guys that replace all the "injured" guys that pull out are still called Pro Bowlers. I mean, semantically i suppose it's true, but it's just dumb.
They need to just end the thing. The "well it helps the Hawaii economy and it's a cool vacation" excuse used to be OK, but starting next year (right?) they're playing it in the same city as the Super Bowl. No one even watches it, watching two hand touch football is not fun.
Isn't this the reason we have to hear people refer to Vince Young as a former Pro-Bowler? Or did he legitimately make it?

I think one year the AFC quarterbacks in the pro bowl because everybody dropping out and shit ended up being David Garrard, Vince Young and Matt Schaub.
Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Rivers and Roethlisberger all dropped out.
I really don't think anybody gives a shit about the game, they just want to be listed as one of the pro bowlers, lol.

He was the first alternate in 07 and the 2nd alternate in 09. I know one of the guys pulling out was Peyton because of the Super Bowl (which is an entirely other issue). It's even worse than guys like Danny Granger being called "All Star SF Danny Granger." At least Granger legitimately made the All Star team once, it's retarded he still gets referred to as an All Star locally, but he was an actual All Star. Vince need 3 guys to pull out. Unfortunately northwinds's mom doesn't subscribe to the same method.
I'm disappointed that no Titans made it. There a few guys that i thought deserved a spot;
Michael Roos has been elite this season @ LT and I believe he should of made it over at least one of the guys that are ahead of him.
Give me Bironas over Janikowski because he is more accurate and has a big leg. While Bironas' leg might not be as big as Janikowski he has been known to hit his fair share of long FGs himself.
Finally I thought Finnegan should of got in. Yes he doesn't have sexy stats but he has been great in coverage all year and unlike other corners he is on a team that lack a pass rush.
The main argument I can see for Manning over Romo and Stafford is maybe because he's had to deal with injuries to key offensive weapons? I don't know, though, Romo has had to deal with the same thing to an extent. Outside of Rodgers, Brees, and Brady, there was a good stretch of football where Eli was the MVP of the league probably, so maybe that's what he's got going for him too.
imagine staffords #s without the broken finger/glove for 4 games. He should definitely feel snubbed.
