I'm really frustrated with that loss last night.
I haven't been this angry in a long time and it's because of freaking basketball game.

I was thinking about it and here's what I need to say.

WE ARE A .500 TEAM WITH D'ANTONI AS A COACH.

Yeah,I said it. We aren't any better than we were last season,at least not in regular season.

We have more talent on the team than year before but our bench is worse.That may change when Baron,Amare,Iman and Jeffries get healthy.

Why do I think we are a .500 team ? Because we have all the same problems we had last season. We are getting outrebounded every game.
We can't play well consistently. We can play 2 good games,next 2 we will play like shit.
On top of that our defense looks much better but our offense looks worse.
It's still early in the season but that won't change few things.
First of all we aren't run and gun team anymore. Prior to the Melo trade we were which allowed us many easy baskets.
Also last year we had a much better ball movement and even though we had less weapons offensively we had better looks.
We were chucking shots from the 3-pt line last year too but they were at least coming from a good ball movement,right now it's contested three after contested three.

Let me get this straight. With D'Antoni as a coach this team will never have toughness and will never play smart.

We are clearly more talented than last year but things we improved on (defense) are masked by things we got worse at (offense,ball movement).

THIS IS A .500 TEAM WITH D'ANTONI AS A COACH.MAYBE A FEW WINS ABOVE .500 LIKE THE LAST SEASON BUT WE AREN'T GETTING NOWHERE NEAR 40 WINS.
I predicted 38-28 before the season started. Right now I predict 35-31.
And with that record we will face Miami or Chicago in the 1st round and you know what that means.

Dantoni couldn't coach a team led by a back to back MVP to the finals.

We shouldn't expect more here when has less.

You are 100% right it is the coach, a good coach makes adjustment, a good coach motivates his team, a good coach makes sure his team is prepared. Im gonna give you a prime example: harbaugh took over the 49ers with basically the same roster, which was butt as hell last year and now they are the two seed, and the dude came from college. Made alex smith look like a pro bowler, ALEX SMITH!!!!!! So yeah im fed up with his nonchalant attitude. Watch this loss come back to bite us in the ass.

Not an overreaction at all. We came into the season banking on a guy with an existing injury AND a history of injury problems to save the day. Essentially, you're not only not taking into effect the possibility of a setback in rehab, but you're also not factoring in how long it will take for him and his team to get acclimated. It isn't like he's been a Knick for years. A healthy Baron Davis, or any player for that matter, still has to get adjusted to new surroundings...especially a PG.
