I would say that one of Amir/Davis would be gone, and also one of Calderon/Barbosa, but still.
If only we lived in a world where good free agents came to Toronto.

Re: Trade Rumor (with no Link)
Maybe rename this thread "baseless trade speculation" because that is what it has become.

It's not speculation at all. It's ideas. Dreams. Goals. Something to believe in!!

Re: Trade Rumor (with no Link)
The Westbrook seed has been planted successfully!
But seriously, even if he didn't want to stay, there is no way OKC doesn't match an offer. He's too good of an asset to just let go. I just think he'd be a good fit to build with and eventually to contend with.

Re: Trade Rumor (with no Link)
It may be the only way to get a good PG.
This draft is weak at the position. Kabongo and Teague will be good NBA players, but I'm not sold on their ability to be elite. And next years draft will have Boatright who has tons of potential but is a huge question mark, and Ian Miller, who I see as being solid, but not spectacular.
Not saying Westbrook is the only option, but it doesn't seem that we'll be able to draft the PG we want anywhere in the near future.

I think ray felton and jameer nelson are more realistic options.

I think with Colangelo at the helm, a max contract for Steve Nash is the likeliest thing.
