Have you seen this kid. He looks bigger than thomas jones who is a gym rat. I couldnt believe how huge this kid was. That said no top end speed is going to hurt him once they get his numbers. The NFL changed draft philosophies on RB's since its by committee so yes I think he could be a mid-late first rounder. If he had that top end speed he would definitely be a top pick.

Shady McCoy doesn't have top end speed. If scouts and teams pass him up because of this? Their loss, he'll run over those teams.

Picked somewhere in the 50-60 range. Same as MJD, Rice, etc.

RB aren't considered a priority anymore. Lots of guys with the same skill set and physical attributes that don't get to run behind Bama caliber O-linemen. Teams believe that if you're strong up front, they can find guys who can run through holes.

50-60?? He'll be gone within the first 20.

Responding to comments about McCoy, who was picked in the 50-60 range.

As stated earlier, Richardson probably goes mid-first round.

Richardson was picked #3 overall.

He currently has the least amount of explosive plays out of starting NFL running backs. He was 7th in the NFL in carries heading into this week and had only two rushes of 20 yards or more.

There were rumors of him being demoted for.....Montario Hardesty.

258 attempts, 897 yards for 3.5 average and 11 touchdowns.

352 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

It's not like they have a terrible OLine, they have a couple studs and some other fine players. His backup is averaging a full yard more per carry.

Although it's a smaller sample size, it's at the least something to think about.

3rd pick should have a better YPC but he gets into the endzone, 2nd in rush TDs. You never can be sure how long an RB lasts but he's a good short yardage/goal line back.
