ain't it funny how Kobrick is praised for chucking and losing at the same time, yet when Lebron posts even better stats he is called "statpadder" and "choker"? The amazing irony of being a Kobrick stan I guess...

Thats the problem with Mike, he doesnt run the team. LBJ ran Cavs, Kobe is playing "Kobe ball" as much as he wants. Sure superstars of such caliber can win some games by themselves in the regular season, but wont get far in the Playoffs without a teamplay.

Kobe, Wade, and Lebron have these stans who care about stats more than the W-L column. It really is sad. Give me the d*mn win over a triple double anyday of the week.

Kobe needs to really settle down and get his teammates involved. While these 40 point games are nice, he's neglecting his teammates and this can create a divide. Yea I see the games and know that his teammates aren't really producing as much as he'd like, but that's even more incentive to get them involved. He's going to be burned out by mid-season and considering the amount of games that are to be played in a condensed season, he definitely needs to change his mentality.

Are we forgetting the numbers Andrew Bynum is putting up? I agree Kobe is taking a bigger load than he should, but let's not say Bynum isn't putting up All-Star numbers. Kobe has had to do more recently as the Laker bench has had injuries pop up. Hopefully when the team is at full strength, he can lower his offensive load.

Look, on his 6/28 game he didn't do that because he HAD to. They had that game and would have won that game EASILY without him doing that. He chucked them out of the game. He did it because he wants to. He's still playing EXACTLY the same, he's just making more of his shots.

The only reason he didn't shot 28 times the first few games was because he injured his wrist in the pre-season. After it healed up, he's been shot jacking like a mad man. It is what it is.

Lol @ ppl thinking "Kobe's going to run out of gas"...He's a pro athlete with 15+ seasons of experience, I think he knows when he needs to slow down.

It's pretty much the offensive system they use in the playoffs, and the finals during the PJ years. I remember Kobe and Pau once made it clear how they need to shy away from the triangle sometimes and play 'playoff' ball.

Question is if lakers even going to make playoffs if that happens.
