Does this season have a wild feel to it?

This condensed season feels like a tournament. It feels very fast paced, NBA 2k 12 style. No team is very consistent, every team is just kind of up and down. You never know what your gonna see on a given night. This year has a different feel to it.

Yep reminds me of the 98-99 season.the 99-00 season was mind blowin also and its lookin like the 12-13 season gone be outstanding

Certainly feels like it, but surprisingly the teams only play an average of 2 extra games per month than the 82 game season. SO in reality it is not really fast paced at all.

No team is consistent? What about the Wizards? They've been consistently shitty since the beginning of the season and have keep it up pretty damn well.

Yeah, I thought Miami would dominate, but even they are surprisingly beatable. I haven't seen one team this year that I could say "Yeah, they'll probably win."

Like:

- There are so many good matchups on every night
- Each game means more, you can't mail it in for stretches of the season...mail it in for a week and it might mean you lose 5 games.

Dislike:

- Offensively, teams have played really poorly...this probably going to be the worst offensive season since '99 (looking that way based on league wide o-rating so far). Lot of sloppy/tired bball.
- Less cross-conference matchups


Ideal regular season imo would be 72 games, starts in the last week of November.
