Could this finally be the year Bynum makes the all star team? Will he be able to survive not being injured? He's been playing better than all west centers, although his numbers dropped off a bit since his early season success.
I hope he makes it, and whats more, I hope he makes some noise afterwards and finally has a year where other team's fans can call him respected.

What would happen if he made it and then we traded him to Orlando days before the game???? It could happen. If he's here I hope he makes it.
Re: Article: Lakers' Bynum leads West centers in All-star voting
He's by far the best center in the West right now. I think at times he's even looked better than Howard because Bynum actually has some offensive moves in the post.
I'm actually kind of shocked that Bynum didn't make the list to be one of the 20 guys that could make it to the Olympics for 2012. As a Lakers fan you don't want to see him take that toll on his body, but as a basketball fan the team only has two true C's and I think Bynum is better than Chandler by a long shot. People talked about Curry being snubbed but I really think it's Bynum.

Bynum said he doesn't want to play in the Olympics, he was not snubbed.

Probably a traveling thing. Some players get lazy, and with good reason. In their summer, the last thing they wanna think about is the job that completely wears them down from fall to spring.
