The Hornets need to lock him down in a Monta Ellis type deal. 10-11 million a season without significant increases.

If he gets more than that, it will be that "here, some extra millions because you are all we've got" mentality that will only hurt the franchise long term.

My dream deal:

Derrick Williams + whatever else on our roster minus Love and Rubio for Gordon.

This way the Hornets don't have to shell out a huge contract and get a very very nice talent in Williams who will be able to play PF.

Wont happen though

Gordon has only played 2 games this season. NOH will probably trade him in exchange for some lottery picks. This guy is injury prone.

He's a very good player and they should try to re-sign him.

Not worth the max though... wonder if someone will pay him.
