I'm sure most of us have had ankle sprains, I've had one of the "high" sprains, my ankle was a grapefruit for like two weeks, size and color. Maybe I'm just a punk w/o NFL trainers and drugs but that shit hurt BAD. Didn't really get over it for like 2 months, it was awful. People hear "ankle sprain" and think no big deal because most are, but the high sprain's a lot worse because the ligaments effected are bigger and are connected to the tibia instead of just the lower ankle and foot bones, which effect stability and just outright pain more.

High ankle sprains ****ing suck is what I'm saying.

I had a high ankle sprain in high school from stepping wrong on the turf during soccer. It swelled worse than when i fractured it another time and I don't recall how, long I was out but it was easily more than a month left in the season when i got hurt and I didn't play again.

Sucks we have to wait 2 weeks for the SB. Should be a week. I wonder if players or teams have a preference.

I hate two weeks off. I can't stand 2 weeks of repetitive chatter, endless analyzing, and dammit, I'm impatient and want football!

2 weeks off prob hurts the giants, who seemed like the hottest team. granted the patriots have won 10 in a row but the giants have been beating better teams.

i hope gronk plays. gonna put williams on him and see if he can lock his ass up

I agree.

That's why I was happy that it was only a week wait when the Bucs were in the Super Bowl vs Oakland. Only had to wait a week. I probably would've died if it was a 2-week wait. I think it's been a 2-week wait for every Super Bowl since that year. Dang that seems like forever ago

No, but it's the last thing between him and the off season. He is definitely playing.

i think he's hurting, if he felt fine there would be no need to show everyone how healthy he is. That's a nasty injury, remember totally non mobile Rothelsberger in the middle of the season. Same injury.

Same with WIlliams on the Giants, IM FINE IM FINE IM FINE! LOOK AT MY FOOT! UNlike Gronk (who i think plays but is hurt) i dont think Williams can play.

If I were on the Giants, I would go for the leg.

Can someone explain to me why the media thinks Ocho Cinco might be a big key to the Patriots chances? Based on both of his catches this year?

^The media will play up any story and Ocho Cinco is a story.

That said, the Pats may try to utilize him if Gronkowski isn't effective...

I am sketchy on if Gronk can play effectively when i heard his injury is the same as Osi. Every week for four weeks we heard Osi feels better, he can walk now, he's going to go and right before the game he was deactivated. i've no doubt Gronk tries but doubt he is anywhere close to normal if it is the same as Osi had.
