Default Great win

that's a team I can get behind

add another top 5 pick and then valanciunas takes all of gray's minutes and I think we can sniff playoffs next season

THANK GOD for no Carter, Magloire and hardly any Ras butler

Yeah this game gave lot of hope for next year, but if this continues we might end up somewhere near playoffs, like 9-11 seed, and that's not good for the draft.

What? Why?

Never mind, I missed the part where he aggravated his calf injury. I thought he just wasn't on the floor late for defensive purposes (although his defense has been good).

Just hoping Bargs needs to rest that leg the rest of the season

Bargnani has been lights out this season. Put him next to a rugged defensive center and we should be alright.

What Bargs is doing this season is impressive. He has changed my perception on his abilities. If he can return and keeps playing at this level, I wouldn't mind keeping him.

Same story for the past 4 years. If only "rugged defensive centers" were not a rare commodity.

I'm just hoping Valanciunas is that guy.

I think expectations for val need to be realistic.
First of all, he is not a rugged centre. He is still very thin and will be bullied by the bigger centre in the nba. Second he will have a huge learning curve.

I expect him to average about 15 mins/game next year and hope he is a solid starter by his third year.

I don't know. He's been tearing all int'l competition of his age from the reports I have seen, and playing serious rotational minutes for his senior national team. I think he could be a very important piece for our franchise, if reports can be believed. The "experts" think his potential is great, and I for one believe them.

He's the type of player that by this third year you'd hope he is our go-to big inside, averaging around 16 and 8 or 9. He averaged 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in 22.6 minutes at EuroCup, AND he didn't attempt a single 3 pointer (thank jeebus).

Geez, I go on vacation for a bit and the tank apparently completely collapses. 2 wins on the road vs West teams? Very disappointed. So much momentum with that 8 game losing streak all gone.

We didn't have our Tank Commander. This draft could be very pivotal in determining where the franchise heads in the next few years (constantly just out of the playoffs or building in the mix), so I expect you to stop taking vacations and start acting like the Tank Commander.
