That was wild. He had the stadium, players, everyone just hyped. He's inconsistent but he showed some strides IMO. He use to try to make a read than scramble to run but today he would scramble around while looking downfield to make a throw. His accuracy is pretty inconsistent. He executed the screen pass perfectly and the 2pt conversion pass was placed really good. Besides that a few of those throws really got away from him. Runs were pretty much all pre-designed. Great at keeping the play alive, just kept running around buying extra time.
He's fun as hell to watch. Def a gamer. Next two weeks needs to literally throw the ball 1000x a day tho
@ this hater. Quinn would be a backup in the CFL. Tebow at this stage still has a lot to learn but it's time for the Broncos to roll the dice and see what he's got. Orton is garbage.
He was actually pretty decent in his 3 starts last year. Led a gamewinning comeback against the Texan if that means anything considering how bad there secondary was. Had like an 82 QB rating pretty sure. Completed like 50% of his passes for like 5 TD's\3 INT while rushing for a few TD's as well.
Where Tebow fails is in practice. From everything I read Tebow didn't even put up a fight against Orton in TC. The gap was so obvious that they couldn't get away with starting him. Orton just can't handle pressure and once the pocket collapses has no mobility and don't think Tebow can really outshine him in those area's if he's not in the game.
Orton scored 3 points in the first half, Tebow 14. I think Denver just had Quinn listed as the 2nd QB with Tebow to maybe calm the fans down. Denver fans already had billboards being made, stadium chanting for Tebow\Booing Orton. Probably thought if they listed Quinn as the second QB than maybe fans would calm down seeing as how Tebow wasn't even the sure fire back up.
What Tebow has is the Falcon Vick-like quality of just being a playmaker, someone who creates offense but isn 't consistent as a pocket passer. You're not going to have a dominant team with that kind of QB but your squad will be entertaining and dangerous to face for any opponent.

It definitely seems like the player, fans and city is completely behind him but I don't think the FO is.. It's time to pull the plug on Orton.. Team ain't going anywhere and Tebow deserves a chance. He has performed good in his limited playing time(Last year, preaseason, etc) and I think all that "he can't beat out Adam Webber for the 3rd QB spot" is total BS. I truly think the new regime has something against him.
