Default Hornets holding out gordon to get top pick?

Heading says it all, but seems fishy to me, with the league owning the Hornets, I would think they would be doing anything I can to get a pick next year for their future. Fustrated Gordon owner.

They're in a tough position. They want him to be healthy, they want to play him and sign him to an extension, but you don't want to give him $60 million, only to find out later his knee is buggered. I've got him to and last I heard he's out for another 3-4 weeks, so i'm not sure if I should drop him or not.

yeah i heard about the extra 3 weeks too. I believe he has been out up til now through injury and death of relative, but this extra 3 weeks makes me believe they are tanking and keeping him out. the rest of my team has be doing well up til now, if i had a healthy gordon, i would be dominating my league

I have him in two of my leagues, since both of my teams are doing fairly well at the moment I'm keeping him and hopefully he'll be huge down the stretch when he returns.
