Default Re: Why does only Lebrons clutch failures reach criticism of epic proportions?

cuz he had GOAT potential, kobe, wade, durant, melo never had that. He is probably the most talented NBA player ever so people expect him to dominate and win 4-6 rings.

Then to make matters worse, LBJ homers wouldn't admit there's a problem for LeBron in the clutch. That's why he gets criticized harshly on this site.

Because he played like Scottie Pippen's little brother with the championship on the line against a comparatively weak defense.

If Lebron wins the next two championships and gets swept three years from now how much criticism do you think would be warranted for being a clutch failure?

Now imagine he wins three in a row, nothing for a few years and then wins a couple more and is swept as he tries to make it another threepeat. How dumb would you have to be to think that is worthy of criticism?

Cuz kobe has already proven to be clutch throughout his whole career and has made alot of big shots in big situations. lebron on the hand. not so much. so everytime he misses it is blown up even more because he has the non clutch label.

Because people don't see the whole picture. Lebron is such a complete player that they start nittpicking. Lebron is probably the only player that gets discredit for not being clutch. Who the hell is clutch? How can you be clutch? They discredit him and say he's overrated and has no rings while forgetting the whole picture and not seeing what kind of a player he is, how he carries average players into wins, how he can score 30+ points while also dishing out 7-8 assists in a game. Winning a championship is not about who the best player is, its a team game. Best player doesn't automatically translates into championship.

BUT.. Lebron, Wade and Bosh need to deliver with the cast they've got now. No excuses.

Lots of guys are clutch. and lebron is not one of them averaging 3 poiints in the 4 quarters of the NBA FINALS and dude he had the best team last year. that was just a complete choke.

Because the Finals are where great players are made. And as much as I can't stand Kobe, at least in his losses he went out gunning.

When LeBron lost he was outscored by Jason Terry.

Because people are simple minded and see he has no rings yet and thus he's an easy target.

LeGod is held to higher standard than any player ever. It's a testament to his greatness. When he does hoist that Larry O'Brien, idiots will still harp on something.

I agree, it is between this and the hoards of people who despise him cause they are Kobe D!ckriders and dont like the thought of another player being better and the rest of people still hold leaving the Cavs and the decision debacle against him.

Lebron hit the game winner against Chicago last year and I believe Skip Bayless tried to discredit it because the score was tied at the time (instead of the Heat being down by 1) and thus apparently the shot had less pressure. Or something like that...I can't remember which specific shot or game it was. It was hysterical.

So, even if he wins a ring the haters will find something to hate on. I guess it comes with the territory.
