Although they still need a back up center.
I agree. Novak should get most of Walker's minutes,if not all of them.

Bill Walker should be kept for big teams only. Goes HAM against them and plays like a scrub against other teams.

I'm the only Bill Walker fan here. Boohoo.

Amare will play tomorrow against the Raptors.

Melo is expected to be back towards end of the week.

I've heard that in NY theres already blogs formulating a mass booing of Amare when he returns. Not to say he doesnt deserve criticism for his play but I think he should be cheered considering the cisumstances in which he left. It would be a nice gesture to show we aren't POS like Philly fans.

Right now he needs every support he can get and those fools want to boo him.

Too many idiots on this world.

It's a shame. Lin, Amare and Melo have been the best thing to talk about in NY basketball since Pat was here, yet, once again, some of us want to run them out of town. Kills me how a team who hasn't won a ring in my lifetime has fans with the audacity to wanna run two of the best players in the game outta here.

We can just hope Amare and Melo will fit well and the Knicks will finally become what they needed to be in the first place with this roster.

I must admit I'm nervous and can't wait for tonight's game against the Raptors.
My wet dream is that Lin dishes out 15 assists(most of it to Amare) and Amare goes for 40+ in the absence of Melo.

But I just want to see us play well and win this one to continue our linning streak.

I say we'll go 3-7 which will put us at 10-20 after 30 games.

Thoughts ?

Bored at work, so I just wanted to bump this and tell OP he was wrong.

All of those teams are very beatable, even the Lakers because we're playing at home.

Let me get this straight.
This is our chance to turn the season around. If we keep playing poorly during this stretch there's a huge chance we might miss the playoffs because schedule gets significantly harder after.

We need to go 6-2 in those 8 games.

I'm not very optimistic but this stretch will tell us a lot about where we stand.
7-0.
We exceeded my wishes (6-2),we can even go for 8-0 if we beat the Hornets tomorrow.
