pretty sure stafford passed for more yards last year than vick ever has. Vick is a solid/good QB, but he is what he is at this point. Someone like Stafford (only Marino threw for 5000 at a younger age) has a ton of room to improve.

Flacco too.
Funny enough I actually considered that. I think overall team success had me bump them that high.

Elite

Rodgers-
Brady
Brees
Manning(healthy)

Borderline Elite

Rivers-People will rank him low due to this season, but in reality he has been better then Ben or Eli the past 4 years.

Ben
Eli

Very good

Romo
Stafford
Vick
Schaub

Vick holds the single season rushing record for a QB with 1,039. So now what?

What else has Stafford done to be in the one ring away tier?

Hall of Fame Level: (Elite)

Phillip Rivers

Very Good:
Tony Romo
Matt Ryan
Joe Flacco
Jay Cutler
Michael Vick

Good:
Matthew Stafford
Matt Schaub
Cam Newton
Andy Dalton
Carson Palmer
Matt Hasselbeck

Could Go Either Way:
Mark Sanchez
Sam Bradford
Kevin Kolb
Matt Cassell
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Matt Moore
Josh Freeman

Not a bad list

Not sure why anyone would have Rivers over Ben or Eli when he hasn't won anything and just had a really bad season. Dude was throwing pick 6's like Mark Sanchez.

My list would go:

Hall of Fame Level: (Elite)
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Aaron Rodgers
Drew Brees

Near Hall of Fame Level: (Elitish)
Ben Roethlisberger (Just below that group of Elites)
Eli Manning

Very Good:
Phillip Rivers
Tony Romo
Jay Cutler
Michael Vick

Matt Ryan (somewhere inbetween until he proves himself more to me)

Good:
Matthew Stafford
Matt Schaub
Cam Newton
Joe Flacco
Andy Dalton

Average or Below Average:
Carson Palmer
Matt Hasselbeck
Alex Smith

Could Go Either Way:
Mark Sanchez
Sam Bradford
Kevin Kolb
Matt Cassell
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Matt Moore
Josh Freeman

I've called out Rivers for being no different than Tony Romo and got blasted for it, and in all reality, they are almost basically the same players when you look at numbers. Put up great stats, great numbers, but have never really won much in the playoffs, and their teams usually underachieve.

Yeah, if Rivers played for the Cowboys no one would be calling him an elite QB lol.

Rings. Tough Play. HE should be.

I don't know what Cutler has shown that he should be above Andy Dalton. Even after his rookie year, I think Dalton has the better career.

RINGS? You know he had a miserable 1st super bowl right? lets face it, he is lucky he was drafted into pittsburgh, where there is a winning tradition. but the fact he has gotten to 3 already is something else
