Default Scalabrine

What do you guys honestly think of Scal?

Does anyone see any good in him besides his 3point ability?

I don't think his three-point shooting is that good.

He had a career game yesterday where his shot was falling. But face it, the guy is completely useless.

Quick Rumor: Doc Rivers only stands up for Scalabrine because he will get fired by Ainge if he doesn't say anything but good about him. After all Ainge did make the boneheaded signing and he wouldn't want to take more heat than he already is getting from the fans.

That would be funny if this was true. And I made it up.

Scal was decent on the Nets. If I remember correctly, he always did pretty good against us, especially in the playoffs. He's surely lost confidence in his shot. From what I see, he basically does whatever Doc asks him to do. If Doc needs him to go off the bench and score 10, he will. If he needs the energy, look no further, same for leadership.

Leadership?? Don't you have to have even a little skill to provide leadership?

I mean you don't have to be a superstar, Horry is a great leader. Skiles was a great leader. Several more in fact. But Scal leadership?

i'd take him back in a second if you guys don't want him.

he was an excellent 2nd man off the bench for us. the mistake you made was in overpaying him and maybe thinking he would be a good fit for your ballclub.

Even Doc agrees with me. Scal is the most vocal guy on the court, he practically runs the place when he's on the floor.

nah, he was a very useful, versatile guy.

he had his bad days but so has every other nets bench player in the past 3-4 years other than uncle cliffy.

His 3 pointing is only average at best.

Anyway I read once Scal has the Jordan mindset. Someone told me or I read. I forget. It was probably some sarcastic joke. lol

I just don't see it too. I mean, there are better hustlers out there. Why get him?

Brian Scalibrine is the leader of this team? I think that may be a new low for the Celtics. Even Captain Fox was better.
