People get awfully silly when it comes to comparing QBs. Nobody uses wins when it comes to other positions. People don't care that much and don't put much value in playoff stats when comparing other positions. Barry Sanders sucked in the playoffs and his teams went 1-5, but nobody holds that against him when discussing RBs. Yeah, I understand the impact a QB has on a team, but people really need to pull their heads out of their asses on this issue. A QB doesn't play on defense nor on special teams (well, unless he's a holder or the rare punt), and isn't a huge factor on running plays.

Whether the Pats win or the Broncos win is not going indicate who is the better QB between Brady and Manning. It's absurd to use this game as the determining factor between the 2. Manning could throw 5 TDs and have 0 ints, but lose the game while Brady could throw 4 ints and have 0 TDs and win. Or, Manning could have that 5 TD game and win, but that doesn't automatically make him the better QB. Also, Brady or Manning going on to win the SB doesn't magically tip the scale in his favor. Some of you people just put waaaaaay tooooooo much emphasis on a single game, and it's pretty ridiculous.

Brady in the playoffs has shown up more than Peyton though.. stats are misleading in football. Its about the context of what you do when the games on the line.. QBs have a lotta control.. Peyton has a ton of control as does brady, moreso than the average QB because their coaches trust them with switching things up calling audbiles hurry ups whatever to control the pace and flow of the game.

If a QB puts up good stats and loses because he throws a pick at a critical moment what did those stats matter? And so far in their careers Peyton has thrown the game away for his team at critical points or failed to lead his team down the field when they needed it more than Brady has in the playoffs.. and thats what matters.

Just eye test alone Brady's confidence and control go up as season progresses Peyton goes from God to mortal regular season to playoffs. When I watched Peyton earlier this year it was like a foregone conclusion he was gonna shit on whatever team he was playing and win while displaying full control and execution.. this week its really a tossup. But hes facing a GOAT level QB so thats kinda expected.

yeah I like this post .. all of these qbs can pretty much be interchanged as 'goat' .. but it's fun to debate who's better

Maybe someday Brady will win a legitimate Super Bowl championship. Not this year though.

Two appearances, and two losses. Thats part of what being an Eagles fan is!

It doesn't change the fact that your team cheated though.

They did what ever team does and they got caught for it and fined. Right after that they went on an undefeated regular season

Stats updated.

The people saying Montana has - paraphrasing, "clearly better playoff stats than Brady in every single category across the board by far" (Carbine) are complete clowns.

Joe Montana in the playoffs =

16 wins
7 losses
4 conference championships
4 Superbowls

5,772 yards passing
45 touchdowns passing
47 touchdowns total (2 rushing touchdowns)
21 interceptions

Tom Brady in the playoffs =

18 wins
8 losses
5 conference championships
3 Superbowls

6,424 yards passing
43 touchdowns passing
47 touchdowns total (4 rushing touchdowns)
22 interceptions

Anyone saying Montana has better playoff performance than Brady is a LIAR. Once Brady wins his 4th Superbowl, which is a foregone conclusion (if anyone thinks the Patriots will go the next 4-5 years losing in the Superbowl or AFC title game, but never winning the championship, they are simply delusional).......then Brady will take the GOAT status.

He already clearly has Montana beat in all regular season categories.

As for Manning......he's still just the best regular season quarterback, until he wins 2 to 3 more Superbowls, and anyone that's objective and unbiased knows that.

So with Greece becoming irrelevant on the international basketball stage, Euroleague has actually put V-Span's d!ck out of his mouth and is now sucking the balls of Tom Brady instead?
