Montana will always be the GOAT. Deal with it.

If Peyton Manning wins the super bowl this year I think he will have a case.

Nope. Montana's playoff resume is much better.

Peyton is the GOAT regular season QB...playoffs are a different story.

His case becomes much stronger, but I still wouldn't consider him the GOAT.

Do people understand how great Montana was in the playoffs?

Brady already has 2 more playoff wins than Montana, and one more conference championship than Montana. He already has Montana beat in regular season stats, and is lapping him in post season stats.

If he wins another Superbowl (which will happen eventually), Brady will be hailed as the GOAT officially.

DEAL WITH IT

AND GET OVER IT

If somehow the Pats win this Super Bowl...

I still put Brady on par with Montana.

Brady has a better playoff record than Montana ALREADY. I guess facts don't matter to you.

If the Patriots win the Superbowl, then Brady's playoff record will be 20-7. Montana's playoff record was 16-7.

20-7 versus 16-7............that's a huge difference when we are talking about the playoffs.

Montana > Brady.

this ..

not to mention .. he doesn't just have losses but was involved in one of worst choke jobs ever .. going into the sb 18-0 and losing .. he's gonna take a significant hit for that ..

montana would've blown out ny and finished off the perfect season .. I'm not knocking brady .. he's one of the best ever .. but I can't put him over montana for this reason .. you would never ever associate 'choke' with montana .. he was a cold blooded assassin when it counted the most

Montana would have lost to New York in the playoffs before he even got to the Superbowl, as he did three times in his career, once more than Brady did.

Montana was never good enough to lead his team to 18-0. Just like he was never good enough to lead his team to 5 Superbowl appearances, or to 18 playoff wins.

Montana lost three straight games to the Giants in the playoffs.

You are totally delusional.

Next you are going to say, "Montana never won 148 games in the regular season like Brady did, he only won 117, therefore, of course he is better than Brady."

You are officially the biggest idiot in the history of this forum.

And the word "choke" was associated with Montana many, many, many times idiot. He had three consecutive years where he was one and done in the playoffs.
He also had plenty of losses in the playoffs as the favored team. What in the freaking hell are you smoking? He was called a choker MANY FREAKING times.

So the 7 playoff loses Montana had, most as the heavily favored team, didn't even occur according to this freaking moron............

You obviously are about 10 years old.

Another revisionist history clown trying to pretend he knows what the **** he is talking about.

With any other QB this year patriots would end up the year with a high draft pick.

Patriots had no business in winning 12 games or being in the AFC championship game if it was not for him.

His best receiver is a guy who was a QB. And he still managed to win games with it.

INB4 a retard comes here and asks "didn't you watch yesterday's game?"
