Re: 2/7/12 - Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors KARDINAL OFFISHAL thread
Oklahoma has terrific chemistry and depth, as well as a legit big 3.
But they better learn that Ibaka and Perkins is just not a good combo. Perkins does not work with this team, with Ibaka being the guy to his side.
Ibaka is a center, plain and simple. Offensively, he's more of a center. But defensively? Defensively he is all center. As a PF, he's not a great defender. If you extend him out of the low post, he's in trouble. He has trouble with guys who put the ball on the floor. He rotates well, he plays well in the zone, and he comes over on the weak side. He is not a PF. And on this team, that is all about running, he is especially not a PF. It's stupid.
But I will say this...for all the the overrating Westbrook gets, he is a great player. And for all the holding back of Durant that sometimes comes from Westbrook's...Westbrookyness, they actually play really well together. They're a legit duo and they have the ability to bring the best out of each other. When they get on the break, they're great to watch...I hope Westbrook doesn't pull a Starbury, cuz this is special. It's like a Scottie and Michael thing, tho Westbrook will never be as overlooked as Pippen was and often is. James Harden HAS to get into the starting line-up after this season. He has the greatest playmaking aspect on the team as a whole.
