Mrs. Carmelo has the softest mental ability of any player in the league. Ask Denver fans if they think he was soft (mashed potatoes for brains). They'll tell you.

Carmelo ain't soft. He's just literally a coward. Same guy who run away from a fight with a 5'8" Nate Robinson after he punched another Knicks player.

that's not really true about carmelo unless you're being a biased hater . . . and generally speaking "soft" when you talk about basketball means playing further from the basket than your height would usually deem and avoiding and getting bothered by contact. carmelo plays down low and looks for contact, so he's absolutely not soft.

Coward move. Throws punch from behind then runs like a bitch. I know this is the NBA, fighting will only get you suspended. But once you start swinging, be ready to right. Don't run away like a coward.

LOL you are truly an awful poster.

Even Denver fans at the time were like Melo took off. He suckered Jefferies or whoever that Knicks player was and ran away. Now I don't believe it was because he was "scared" but more like oh shit I'm a retard and shouldn't have done that.

He hit and ran tho, can't dispute that

Sarcastic those pictures mean nothing. Korver is trying to avoid the foul especially since the player is already in shooting motion. You can even see Finley leaning towards him. I know you're better than this.

I guess Ronnie was a coward too after hitting this guy.

If you have ever been in a fight, you would know that is a natural reaction. Especially in a brawl with lots of people around.

What do people mean by "soft"

I would call these players soft:
Bosh
Amar'e
Villanueva
Garnett back in the day
Lamarcus Aldridge is a teensy bit soft, but not as bad as these guys

I don't think of perimeter guys as exactly "soft" especially if they're good at it

Not Soft:
Al Jefferson
Bynum
Carmelo
Randolph
Dwight

It's being a coward. I've seen it happen with friends, tons of situations. Hitting a person who doesn't expect and than taking off is a bitch move. Happens all the time. Half the people that do it .. say themselves it's a bitch move. Sometimes emotions get the better of people and that's the result and that's fine but still doesn't make it not a bitch move.

It's not a fight. It's just hitting somebody. A fight is when two people who are both willingly ready to throw down go at it.
