All those guys are perpetual injury problems. Clark doesn't have much left in the tank, people don't realize he'll be 33 by the time next season starts. This team got old pretty fast. Sucks about Addai, I'm a big fan, but just never healthy enough to justify a 4mm+ cap hit. At least Donald Brown should get consistent touches now.

Jet's sign Mark Sanchez to a 3 year extension.

I guess this is their way of apologizing to him after all the Manning talk.

I just want to clear something up: It's not a 3 year 58 mil extension, its a 5 year 58 mil in total.

Well, at least the Colts didn't do that.

Also, at least it won't feel like cheating to use the Colts on Madden anymore. That'll be a fun franchise mode.

Well who ever signs Peyton will now have two other players to go with him(Clark and Wayne)

It's a perfect situation for Miami.. They need a TE, they can use another WR and put that with Peyton Manning they'll be a dangerous team.

Clark seriously wasn't any good last year. And it wasn't just the shit QBs throwing to him, just dropped all kinds of perfectly fine passes.

So the free agency period starts earlier this year. Tuesday at 11 pm players can sign contracts.

Who do you think your team has a realistic chance of signing??

I have read that the Bears might go after some big name guys. Mario Williams might actually be at the top of their list. Then guys like VJax and Colston are also targets they might go after. And John Carlson as well who I hope could have a bounce back year. Also within our own FA's we have Corey Graham, special teams ace and pro bowler, as well as key rotation guys like Amobi Akoye, Israel Idonije, and Kahlil Bell who the team will have to make decisions on.

I have been reading a lot about the possibility of Williams to Chicago. Don't get me wrong i think it'll be ridiculously awesome if we can get him but Cutler needs some, if only just one, big target to trust. Colston and Jackson fit that role. Rookie receivers tend to develop slower but I do love Michael Floyd. But a Williams/Peppers bookend, man, with Briggs and Urlacher playing like they're younger, talk about a dominant defense.

NFL is going to take millions of dollars worth of cap space away from the Cowboys (10 million) and Redskins (36 million!) for illegally front-loading contracts (via rotoworld):

Quote:
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the NFL is taking away millions in salary-cap space from the Cowboys and Redskins for illegal front-loading of deals during the 2010 uncapped year.
According to Profootballtalk.com, teams were warned "at least six times" they would face "serious consequences" for using the uncapped year as an opportunity to dump salaries. The Cowboys will lose $10 million compared to the Redskins' whopping $36 million hit. Dallas was reportedly $4.7 million under the $120.6 million cap while Washington was in better shape at $31.3 million under. The franchises have the option of splitting the damage over 2012 and 2013, but it's still going to have a deleterious effect on the Cowboys' speculated interest in major free agents such as LG Carl Nicks, DE/OLB Mario Williams, and CB Cortland Finnegan and the Redskins' pursuit of Vincent Jackson.
