He's inconsistent, and easily demotivated. If he could play at this level every night he'd be the best PG in the league... it is the difference between him and Rose/CP3. He'd be one of the best players in the league if he played this well night in, night out (obviously).

I just don't get it. Some games he pushes the ball, looks to penetrate, shoots the wide open shot that he really needs to take whether he can make it or not. Other games he walks the ball up the floor, stands around, and points at people. This is why I don't like him.

Completely dead-on. Its absolutely frustrating as a fan to watch this night in and night out. You never want to hang your hat on "If he only tried, he could do it" arguments...but in his case, you really have to wonder.

Proving his case why he should be backing up Rose, not D-Will. Which, I thought he should be doing that anyway considering the Celtics would be the shits without him and the Nets are the shits with D-Will.

The Celtics have a good record without him, don't they?

EDIT: 6-2.
This is true but Pierce just recently started playing like Pierce. Early on in the season, Rondo was doing everything and they would probably be a lot further back than 7th seed if it wasn't for him.

And they were losing. Celtics started to look a little something like the Celtics again as soon as Pierce turned it around. Paul Pierce is the best player on that basketball team.

Pierce has always been a quality facilitator, plus Bradley stepped up his game in Rondo's absence. A teams ability to get contributions in unlikely places doesn't negate one players overall value to a team.
