Default Is Utah shopping Al Jefferson?

Hes got only 1 more year on his deal after this season, but Utah luckily has 2 young big men with a lot of potential in Favors and Kanter who eventually will anchor their frontcourt.

Hes been performing well lately, but Utah should probably going to ride things out until the Trade Deadline to decide if they want to move any of their vets for good value.

What would be the best deal they could get for Big Al?

Al Jefferson + Devin Harris for Pau Gasol + Darius Morris.

Final offer.

He's the most likely to go of the 4 big men, but whatever the situation, the Jazz need a pointguard and a shooting guard. Both must be able to shoot the three, as well as FTs(I could not tell you how many technical FTs the Jazz have missed this year, but it's got to be at least a dozen).

So, no Rondo deals, please.

I would trade Al for a good PG or SF, or a nice pick. I think Al will stick around this season, but will be traded in the offseason.

Al Jefferson for Carlos Boozer + picks.

That sounds good doesn't it? Utah should take it.

Due to Millsap's smaller contract hes probably easier to move and get back good value at that considering how well hes played this season.

Its hard to see a better fit for Big Al around the league outside of Golden State.

I just dont think Golden State would move Curry to do it and they dont really have many other pieces to move.

Fine, it would be a pleasure for you to take Gasols bum ass haha. Have a blast with him.

Nah, but I seen some of the replies after mine and it seemed like you guys needed guards or combo guards. Threw some out that we're struggling this season in stuck and BG, maybe a change of scenery would do them help.

The simplest way to describe it is that Harris' skillset is a very poor fit for this Jazz team. He can bring a lot to the table, but the Jazz just do not need any of it, and what the Jazz need, he doesn't have.

He's basically a slasher who can dish it out to guys on the perimeter, and he can create a bit off the dribble. The Jazz are a very poor outside shooting team, so he really has no one to pass out to. The Jazz are also stacked like Scarlet Johansson at the 4 and 5 positions, so there is little room in the paint for him to drive. The lanes are usually clogged, and he'll either run into one of our bigs or a defender.

The Jazz need a PG who can run pick and roll, who can set up teammates, especially bigs, and who can throw alley-oop passes to one of the many leapers on this team. Basically, if Earl Watson was 23 instead of 33, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Harris would be traded away for a bag of magic beans and Earl would run the point. The Jazz would use the Okur TPE to get a SG, and that'd be it.

Of course, Watson is 33 and isn't a long term solution.

Millsap is also much more valuable to the Jazz because of his contract. He's also more versatile and an easier fit into different offenses.

He never recovered from the Nets trading Vince Carter.

Thats why I think he'd really excel if he was on the Lakers playing next to Kobe.

The Nets thought he could carry them and would be more productive without VC, and ultimately he ended up facing constant double teams which caused his numbers to slip and the Nets to win 12 games.

The problem is he still has a broke jumper and he's at his best when he can drive the lane and draw fouls. Hes not been looking for his shot much this season and I'm not sure why, or maybe thats what Corbin wants from him.

If he shoots more, he misses more, and that gives us less possessions. That's why.
