Ran a 4.39 40. He is a low risk, high reward signing right now. He will get a cheap contract with lots of incentives. If he sucks, then cut him.

I'm surprised...interesting to see where he goes in fantasy leagues

the highest reported clock time is 4.44 which is still impressive as fuark for a 6'4 guy. He definitely can start in this league and contribute at a good level IMO.

It's crazy to think he could still be that fast and yet had the final season that he had. It would mean that effort-wise he was basically stealing money. Cris Carter was dead-on accurate when he said he had the most quit in him of any superstar he'd ever seen. I almost can't believe he still has that much speed with the way he didn't perform but if that's where he was clocked then I guess he can still run "like a scalded dog" (Bobby Bowden).

****, with that time half the league should sign him.. Also, I think he'll be able to bounce back as people did write him off after a couple of bad seasons in Oakland. I think he's still a pretty good receiver.

Darrell Green thinks that is a cute 40 time. My man ran a 4:39 on his 50 birthday

Not even sure what year this was. Want to say 6-7yrs. But D.Green faced off vs some NFL players in this contest. Think it was sprints and stuff. He more than held his own out running younger dudes who were considered among the fastest in the NFL. Fun to watch.
