I was one of the main people on here saying he should be fired. But he did give Lin playing time and deserves some credit. I'd say keep him at least until the end of the season and see how Lin plays along with 'Melo and Amar'e.

I was one of the people calling for his head. I'm still not a D'Antoni fan. BUT he should and will keep him job for the rest of the season. Melo isn't a D'Antoni player, but the system really could change a lot with a PG like Lin.

Not now that he has a dominant Point Guard! That's all he needs to succeed!

no . . . but we'll see if he can have success with carmelo and amar'e added to the mix before we start talking an extension

again, not a bad coach. just a somewhat limited one. he is fire when he has a roster of players who fit his style.

Yes then have Lin as playing coach. Trade Amare for the white mamba. And trade Melo Darko Milicic. Linicks go undefeated for the rest of the season. Linicks? i meant Knicks. Sweep entire playoffs.

Yes, Pringles should still be fired. He lucked into Lin. If circumstances hadn't forced his hand, he never would have played the kid.

The reason he should lose his job is because he's so petty, and does things to feel like a dictator that are not in the best interests of the team.

He is well known for putting players in the doghouse, and never letting them out. I blame him 95% for the Starbury debacle. Had he handled the situation differently, the team could have gotten much more out of Steph.

Pringles knows the game, but is a weak, petty individual. That's why even if this year goes well, he'll eventually be run out of town. The sooner, the better.

Yes he should be fired. He is an awful coach. Any other coach would have this team well over .500 this far into the season.

Yes he should be fired. He fell completely ass backwards into Lin. A good coach would have played him sooner knowing his options were Tony Douglas and Mike Bibby(like really WTF were the Knicks thinking)

I was one of the ones who said he shouldn't be fired. I believed it wouldn't be right to fire him until you see what he can do when he has a playmaker at the PG spot.

Now you see Lin flourishing in his system, and when Melo and Amar'e come back, who knows just how good this Knicks team could be.
