Re: wtfff chase fuggin budiingerr?? why isnt lebrn in the dunk contest
Being a Houston fan, I also don't get it from a style and flash standpoint, as he has none of that when he dunks. But Houston does need some players to represent.
I wouldn't want to any of Houston in the 3-point contest as fragile as our players can be, a bad showing could mean a season long slump lol.

If you need Houston to have a player in there Chandler Parsons is a sick in game dunker.
I believe it is hard for the contest not to get worse when the NBA is constantly shortening both the number of contestants participating and number of rounds available.
Further, the "it's gets worse every year" line is always used by everyone to describe every contest. There's been a lot of great contest moments in the last ten years and there's no way humanly possible the 2011 contest could be deemed worse than the 2010 debacle where, facing elimination, DeMar DeRozan decided to go "big" by performing a routine fast-break double pump jam.
I'm annoyed they didn't invite DeAndre Jordan who's been wanting to be in it for years now. He's not a typical big man dunker and many argue McGee should of been winner last year (DJ is a similarly gifted, long armed dunker).

LeBron isn't in the dunk contest because his ego can't take the fact of losing. While he's a good powerful dunker he's never been extremely creative with it from what I can tell. You have the tomahawk, then the up and under reverse, etc.
Even when he played in Cleveland I didn't feel he was a flashy enough dunker for the dunk contest. But I was interested in seeing what he could do at least.
Um Chase Budinger? Is he a readhead from Rockets? I thought the guy who made a putback (I think) over Blake Griffin should be in... But he's not Budinger, is he..

McGee is way more agile than DJ, DJ would blow ass in a dunk contest
