Thing is, the dunks don't have to be totally original or gimmicky. If you can complete a beautiful looking, acrobatic 'kiss the rim' dunk or one of the old standards, it would be 100x better than doing some standard dunk while jumping over some guy or putting a sticker on a backboard.

The whole art of the thing has been lost to gimmicks.

I guess the All-Star game will suck too so the Greg Monroe steal will be the highlight of the All-Star weekend

The problem is that almost every dunk has already been done and guys don't want to do dunks that have already been done so they still do the same shit but add the gimmicks just so its not a straight up copy.

Reverse 360 windmill is a beautiful dunk, to do that shit in the dark is just a disgrace.

Literally the only things I've enjoyed so far were Kyrie Irving ballin' and Greg Monroe stealing.

George ****ed up. Dude's a smooth acrobat, he doesn't need to jump over guys or glow in the dark or throw up Legend stickers. Just take the ball and do some gorgeous dunks. Disappointed in him.

At least people'll remember the glow in the dark dunk, poorly executed as it was. You can't do a glow in the dark dunk when like 15% of you is actually glowing. Can't be that hard to get a full glow in the dark uniform.

They should scrap all star weekend. The whole thing is trash, spread the regular season games out a little more instead.

In saying that I enjoyed the rising stars game. Kyrie beasting, Rubio with some great moves, Wall with some crazy dunks and Monroe with the steal.

The rest of the weekend has been garbage and I bet the All Star game will be also.
