that's stupid. China is a first world country. ESPECIALLY for someone who has money.

Still I don't think there's a problem with him leaving, we all knew that players only left to CBA and Europe because they were scared of not having a job, in the end the teams can't force their players to try hard (like JR proved in his last 3 games >_> ,) so it's nice of them to let him go, plus now is his opportunity to prove himself, since Gallo is injured.

Apparently if Denver does sign him to a 1 year deal, then he can leave this offseason without them getting anything back for him.

I wonder if they can Sign & Trade him for at least a 1st Round Pick and/or another rotation player.

Much of China is basically still 3rd world.

They can't do a sign and trade because of the new CBA. They wanted to with Kenyon and couldn't.

What do you mean? Is Denver way above the cap limit?

He's in a proffessional basketball team in china, he's not living in a piss poor area in china. And China is not "third world", bytthat standards the US is third world because we have areas that are poor too.

Either way they might actually play better without him? I'd assume they figure they can't do any worse anyway.

He's been settling for too many jump shots, but they still aren't getting out of the first round without him. He had 41/18 in the last game of the season... still contributes offense that no one else on the team can. Plus they're the 7th seed, playing #2.

There are still what I would call third world living areas right next to brand new high rises here in Beijing so while he's living large he's certainly been exposed to places that would make even Detroit look like Beverly Hills.

How many mule driven carts you see in the hood?

Well, in the hood there's foreclosed homes, garbage everywhere, run down buildings, no civilization, bums, etc.

I'd take those mule driven carts than the hood anyday

The Nuggets FO have said that WC is a big part of this teams future, and that losing him (and only him) was a big blow in the offseason.

Masai have been talking to his agent regularly and even made a trip to china to meet with him.

I think the Nuggets really want to sign him to a 4 year deal. And I would not be too suprised to see WC accept.
